English Translation
Sufyān narrated to us, from ʿAbdillāh ibn Abī Bakr ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr ibn Ḥazm, who heard ʿAbbād ibn Tamīm, from his uncle, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ went out to the prayer ground and performed the rain prayer. He faced the qiblah, turned his cloak around, and prayed two rakʿahs. Sufyān said: Turning the cloak means putting the right side on the left and the left on the right.
