قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّاقِدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ ذِي الْغُرَّةِ قَالَ عَرَضَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسِيرُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُدْرِكُنَا الصَّلَاةُ وَنَحْنُ فِي
أَعْطَانِ الْإِبِلِ أَفَنُصَلِّي فِيهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا قَالَ أَفَنَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ لُحُومِهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَفَنُصَلِّي فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَفَنَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ لُحُومِهَا قَالَ لَا

English Translation
ʿAbdullāh narrated to us, ʿAmr ibn Muḥammad al-Nāqid narrated to us, he said: ʿUbaydah ibn Ḥumayd al-Ḍabbī narrated to us, from ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbdillāh, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Laylā, from Dhū al-Ghurrah, he said: A Bedouin approached the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ while the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was traveling and said: O Messenger of Allāh, the prayer time comes upon us while we are at the resting places of camels — shall we pray there? The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: No. He said: Shall we perform wuḍūʾ from their meat? He said: Yes. He said: Shall we pray in the resting places of sheep? The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: Yes. He said: Shall we perform wuḍūʾ from their meat? He said: No.
