قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّث
َنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ أَنَّ عَمَّهُ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ بِالنَّاسِ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى يَسْتَسْقِي لَهُمْ فَقَامَ فَدَعَا قَائِمًا ثُمَّ تَوَجَّهَ قِبَلَ الْقِبْلَةِ وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ فَأُسْقُوا

English Translation
Abū al-Yamān narrated to us, he said: Shuʿayb narrated to us, from al-Zuhrī, he said: ʿAbbād ibn Tamīm informed me that his uncle — who was among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ — reported that the Prophet ﷺ went out with the people to the prayer ground to perform the rain prayer. He stood and supplicated while standing, then he turned toward the qiblah, turned his cloak around, and they were given rain.
