English Translation

ʿAbdullāh said: Manṣūr ibn Abī Muzāḥim narrated to us, he said: Abū Uways ʿAbdullāh ibn Uways narrated to us — I heard from him during the caliphate of al-Mahdī — from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUbaydullāh ibn ʿAbdillāh, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from al-Ṣaʿb ibn Jaththāmah, he said: I gave the Prophet ﷺ a slaughtered wild donkey at Waddān — or he said at al-Abwāʾ. He returned it to me. When he saw the distress on my face, he said: We only returned it to you because we are in a state of iḥrām.
