قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ كُلْثُومٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي غَادِيَةَ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْعَقَبَةِ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ إِلَى أَنْ تَلْقَوْا رَبَّكُمْ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَ
هْرِكُمْ هَذَا أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا غَادِيَةَ الْجُهَنِيَّ قَالَ بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْعَقَبَةِ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Ṣamad ibn ʿAbd al-Wārith narrated to us, he said: Rabīʿah ibn Kulthūm narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, from Abū Ghādiyah al-Juhanī, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ addressed us on the Day of ʿAqabah and said: 'O people, your blood and your wealth are sacred to you until you meet your Lord, as sacred as this day of yours, in this land of yours, in this month of yours. Have I conveyed?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'O Allāh, have I conveyed?' ʿAffān narrated to us, he said: Rabīʿah narrated to me, he said: My father narrated to me, he said: I heard Abū Ghādiyah al-Juhanī say: I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ on the Day of ʿAqabah, and he said, 'O people, your blood...' and he mentioned the like of it.
