قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ وَقَالَ أ

َحَدُهُمَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ إِيَاسٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَحْمَدُ وَالْحَاشِرُ وَالْمَاحِي وَالْخَاتِمُ وَالْعَاقِبُ

English Translation

Ḥasan and ʿAffān narrated to us, they said: Ḥammād ibn Salama narrated to us, from Jaʿfar ibn Abī Waḥshiyyah — and one of them said Jaʿfar ibn Iyās — from Nāfiʿ ibn Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim, from his father, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: 'I am Muḥammad, Aḥmad, al-Ḥāshir (the Gatherer), al-Māḥī (the Eraser), al-Khātim (the Seal), and al-ʿĀqib (the Last).'
