قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ م
ُطْعِمٍ قَالَ تَذَاكَرْنَا غُسْلَ الْجَنَابَةِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَآخُذُ مِلْءَ كَفِّي ثَلَاثًا فَأَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثُمَّ أُفِيضُ بَعْدُ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِي

English Translation
Ḥujayn ibn al-Muthannā narrated to us, he said: Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from Sulaymān ibn Ṣurad, from Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim, who said: We were discussing the ritual bath after sexual impurity (ghusl al-janābah) in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'As for me, I take three handfuls of water and pour them over my head, then pour water over the rest of my body afterward.'
