قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ ح
َدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَزْهَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَخَلَّلُ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ يَسْأَلُ عَنْ مَنْزِلِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ فَأُتِيَ بِسَكْرَانَ فَأَمَرَ مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ أَنْ يَضْرِبُوهُ بِمَا كَانَ فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Azhar narrated: I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ on the day of Ḥunayn going around among the people's camping areas, asking about the tent of Khālid ibn al-Walīd. A man who had drunk wine was brought before him, and the Prophet ﷺ told the people: 'Beat him!' So they beat him with their sandals and with whatever was in their hands. the Prophet ﷺ threw dust in his face.
