أَمْلَاهُ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ النَّوَادِرِ قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ زَيْد

ِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَرَأَ بِمِائَةِ آيَةٍ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كُتِبَ لَهُ قُنُوتُ لَيْلَةٍ

English Translation

He dictated to us from the rare narrations. He said: Abū Tawbah al-Rabīʿ ibn Nāfiʿ wrote to me, he said: al-Haytham ibn Ḥumayd narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Wāqid, from Sulaymān ibn Mūsā, from Kathīr ibn Murrah, from Tamīm al-Dārī who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Whoever recites one hundred verses in a night, the reward of a night's devotion (qunūt) will be recorded for him."
