حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ شِيَيْمِ بْنِ بَيْتَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سَالِمٍ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ بْنِ
أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ رُوَيْفِعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّهُ غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَكَانَ أَحَدُنَا يَأْخُذُ النَّاقَةَ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِمَّا يَغْنَمُ حَتَّى أَنَّ لِأَحَدِنَا الْقِدْحَ وَلِلْآخَرِ النَّصْلَ وَالرِّيشَ

English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Isḥāq narrated to us from his book, he said: Ibn Lahīʿah informed us, from ʿAyyāsh ibn ʿAbbās, from Shiyaym ibn Baytān, from Abū Sālim, from Shaybān ibn Umayyah, from Ruwayfiʿ ibn Thābit al-Anṣārī: that he went on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ. He said: One of us would take a camel in exchange for half of whatever he gained in spoils, to the extent that one of us would receive the arrow shaft while the other received the arrowhead and the fletching.
