حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ لَعَنَ رَجُلٌ دِيكًا صَاحَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَ
يْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَلْعَنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصُّبْحَ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فِي أَثَرِ سَمَاءٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, Maʿmar informed us, from Ṣāliḥ ibn Kaysān, from ʿUbaydullāh ibn ʿAbdillāh ibn ʿUtbah, from Zayd ibn Khālid al-Juhanī who said: A man cursed a rooster that crowed near the Prophet ﷺ, so the Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not curse it, for it calls to prayer." ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, Maʿmar narrated to us, from Ṣāliḥ ibn Kaysān, from ʿUbaydullāh ibn ʿAbdillāh, from Zayd ibn Khālid who said: the Prophet ﷺ led us in Ṣubḥ prayer at al-Ḥudaybiyah after rain had fallen during the night. He mentioned the ḥadīth.
