قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَة

ُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ بَيَّتْنَا هَوَازِنَ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ وَكَانَ أَمَّرَهُ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us, he said: ʿIkrimah ibn ʿAmmār narrated to us, from Iyās ibn Salamah, from his father, who said: We raided Hawāzin at night with Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, and the Prophet ﷺ had appointed him over us.
