English Translation

Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, from ʿIkrimah, he said: Iyās ibn Salamah narrated to me, from his father, that the Prophet ﷺ saw a man eating with his left hand and said: "Eat with your right hand." He said: I cannot. He said: "May you never be able to!" And it [his hand] never reached his mouth after that.
