Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْجُودِيِّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ أَضَافَ قَوْمًا فَأَصْبَحَ الضَّيْفُ مَحْرُومًا فَإِنَّ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ نَصْرَهُ حَتَّى يَأْخُذَ بِقِرَى لَيْلَتِهِ مِنْ زَرْعِهِ وَمَالِهِ

English Translation
Ḥajjāj narrated to us saying: Shuʿbah narrated to us saying: I heard Abū al-Jūdī narrating, from Ibn al-Muhājir, from al-Miqdām ibn Maʿdī Karib Abū Karīmah رضي الله عنه, from the Prophet ﷺ: "Any Muslim who hosts a people but the guest finds himself deprived in the morning, then it is the right of every Muslim to support him until he takes the equivalent of one night's hospitality from his crops and wealth."
