حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ حَدَّثَنَا بَحِير

ُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَرِيرِ وَالذَّهَبِ وَعَنْ مَيَاثِرِ النُّمُورِ

English Translation

Ḥaywah ibn Shurayḥ and Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Malik narrated to us, they said: Baqiyyah narrated to us, Baḥīr ibn Saʿd narrated to us, from Khālid ibn Maʿdān, from al-Miqdām ibn Maʿdī Karib رضي الله عنه, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ prohibited silk, gold, and tiger-skin saddle-cloths.
