English Translation

Abū Usāmah narrated to us: al-Walīd ibn Kathīr narrated to us: Bushayr ibn Yasār, the freed slave of Banū Ḥārithah, narrated to us that Rāfiʿ ibn Khadīj and Sahl ibn Abī Ḥathmah narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited muzābanah — selling dates on the tree for dried dates — except for the owners of ʿarāyā, for he had permitted them.
