حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَل
َّمَ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ ثُمَّ نَنْحَرُ الْجَزُورَ فَتُقْسَمُ عَشَرَ قَسْمٍ ثُمَّ تُطْبَخُ فَنَأْكُلُ لَحْمًا نَضِيجًا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ وَكُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَنْصَرِفُ أَحَدُنَا وَإِنَّهُ لَيَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَوَاقِعِ نَبْلِهِ

English Translation
Abū al-Mughīrah narrated to us: al-Awzāʿī narrated to us: Abū al-Najāshī narrated to us: Rāfiʿ ibn Khadīj narrated to me, he said: We would pray ʿAṣr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then slaughter a camel and divide it into ten portions, then cook it and eat well-cooked meat before the sun set. And we would pray Maghrib during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and one of us could leave and still see where his arrows would land.
