حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُشَّانَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّه
ُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَثْكَلَ ثَلَاثَةً مِنْ صُلْبِهِ فَاحْتَسَبَهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَ أَبُو عُشَّانَةَ مَرَّةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلَمْ يَقُلْهَا مَرَّةً أُخْرَى وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

English Translation
Ḥasan narrated to us: Ibn Lahīʿah narrated to us: Abū ʿUshshānah narrated to us that he heard ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir say, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that he said: 'Whoever loses three children from his own loins and bears it patiently for the sake of Allah عز وجل' — Abū ʿUshshānah once [added]: 'in the path of Allah,' and another time he did not say it — 'Paradise becomes obligatory for him.'
