حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَابِسٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ
اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ يَا ابْنَ عَابِسٍ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَفْضَلِ مَا تَعَوَّذَ الْمُتَعَوِّذُونَ قَالَ قُلْتُ بَلَى فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ هَاتَيْنِ السُّورَتَيْنِ

English Translation
Ḥasan ibn Mūsā narrated to us: Shaybān narrated to us, from Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm, that Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān informed him that Ibn ʿĀbis al-Juhanī informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: 'O Ibn ʿĀbis, shall I not inform you of the best refuge-seeking the refuge-seekers have sought?' He said: I said: 'Yes.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Qul Aʿūdhu bi-Rabb al-Falaq and Qul Aʿūdhu bi-Rabb al-Nās — these two sūrahs.'
