حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ الضَّمْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الرُّعَيْنِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أ
ُخْتَهُ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَمْشِيَ حَافِيَةً غَيْرَ مُخْتَمِرَةٍ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ عُقْبَةُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مُرْ أُخْتَكَ فَلْتَرْكَبْ وَلْتَخْتَمِرْ وَلْتَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ

English Translation
ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir al-Juhanī narrated that his sister vowed to walk barefoot and without a head covering. ʿUqbah mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Command your sister to ride and to cover her head, and to fast three days."
