حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مِشْرَحٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ كُلُّ م
َيِّتٍ يُخْتَمُ عَلَى عَمَلِهِ إِلَّا الْمُرَابِطَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُجْرَى لَهُ أَجْرُ عَمَلِهِ حَتَّى يُبْعَثَ حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ فِيهِ وَيُؤَمَّنُ مِنْ فَتَّانِ الْقَبْرِ

English Translation
ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Every deceased person has his deeds sealed, except the one stationed (murābiṭ) in the cause of Allah — his deeds continue to grow until the Day of Resurrection." Qutaybah added in his narration: "And he is kept safe from the trial of the grave."
