حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍ الْهُنَائِيُّ بَصْرِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي ك

English Translation

Ismāʿīl ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us saying: ʿAlī ibn Mubārak al-Hunāʾī — a trustworthy Basran — narrated to us, from Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from Abū Salamah, from Busr ibn Saʿīd, from Zayd ibn Khālid al-Juhanī رضي الله عنه, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Whoever equips a warrior in the cause of Allāh has indeed participated in the expedition, and whoever looks after his family [in his absence] has indeed participated in the expedition."
