حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَابِسٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلّ
َى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ يَا ابْنَ عَابِسٍ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَفْضَلِ مَا تَعَوَّذَ بِهِ الْمُتَعَوِّذُونَ قَالَ قُلْتُ بَلَى فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ وَأَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ هَاتَيْنِ السُّورَتَيْنِ

English Translation
Ibn ʿĀbis al-Juhanī narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: "O Ibn ʿĀbis, shall I not tell you of the best thing with which those who seek refuge have sought refuge?" He said: "Yes." the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind' and 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak' — these two sūrahs."
