English Translation
ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir al-Juhanī narrated: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us while we were studying the Quran. He said: "Learn the Quran and hold fast to it" — and Qabāth said: I do not think but that he also said: "and recite it beautifully — for it slips away more easily than camels from their hobbles."
