حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُشَّانَةَ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ع
ُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَانَتْ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ ثَلَاثُ بَنَاتٍ فَصَبَرَ عَلَيْهِنَّ فَأَطْعَمَهُنَّ وَسَقَاهُنَّ وَكَسَاهُنَّ مِنْ جِدَّتِهِ كُنَّ لَهُ حِجَابًا مِنْ النَّارِ

English Translation
ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir al-Juhanī narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say — and he said it more than once: "Whoever has three daughters and is patient with them, and feeds them, gives them drink, and clothes them from his means, they will be a shield for him from the Fire."
