حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ الدُّورِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو رِ
مْثَةَ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَهُ ابْنٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ ابْنُكَ هَذَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ وَلَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ

English Translation
ʿAbdullāh narrated to us, al-ʿAbbās al-Dūrī narrated to us, ʿUmar ibn Ḥafṣ ibn Ghiyāth narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from al-Shaybānī, from Iyād ibn Laqīṭ, who said: Abū Rimthah narrated to me that he entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and with him was a son of his. He said: "Is this your son?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Indeed, he shall not bear your crime, nor shall you bear his crime."
