حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي أَنَسٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ مِصْرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّه
ِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ الْمُطَّلِبِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى وَتَشَهَّدُ وَتُسَلِّمُ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَتَبَأَّسُ وَتَمَسْكَنُ وَتُقْنِعُ يَدَيْكَ وَتَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اللَّهُمَّ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ

English Translation
Ḥajjāj ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, Shuʿbah said: ʿAbd Rabbihi ibn Saʿīd informed me, from ʿImrān ibn Abī Anas — from the people of Egypt — from ʿAbdullāh ibn Nāfiʿ, from ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Ḥārith, from al-Muṭṭalib, that the Prophet ﷺ said: "The prayer is two by two. You make tashahhud and give salām in every two rakʿahs, show humility and neediness, raise your hands and say: 'O Allah, O Allah.' Whoever does not do this, his prayer is deficient."
