English Translation

ʿAbdullāh ibn Muḥammad narrated to us — and I heard it myself from ʿAbdullāh ibn Muḥammad ibn Abī Shaybah — Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī narrated to us, from Zāʾidah, from al-Rabīʿ ibn ʿAbdillāh, from Ayman ibn Nābil, from Yaʿlā ibn Murrah, who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "Any man who wrongfully takes even a handspan of land, Allah عز وجل will make him dig it until he reaches the bottom of seven earths, then it will be hung around his neck until the Day of Resurrection, until judgement is passed between the people."
