حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ بَلَغَنِي عَنْ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ يَا سُرَاقَةُ أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى أَعْظَمِ الصَّدَقَةِ أَوْ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الصَّدَقَةِ قَالَ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ابْنَتُكَ مَرْدُودَةٌ إِلَيْكَ لَيْسَ لَهَا كَاسِبٌ غَيْرَكَ

English Translation
ʿAbdullāh ibn Yazīd narrated to us, Mūsā ibn ʿAlī narrated to us, who said: I heard my father say: It reached me from Surāqah ibn Mālik, who said he was told that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: "O Surāqah, shall I not direct you to the greatest charity — or one of the greatest acts of charity?" He said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Your daughter who is returned to you, having no earner besides you."
