English Translation

Abū Nuʿaym narrated to us, Yūnus narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from Khaythamah who said: My grandfather had a boy born to him and named him ʿAzīz. He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'A boy was born to me.' He said, 'What did you name him?' He said, 'I said: ʿAzīz.' He said, 'No, rather he is ʿAbd al-Raḥmān.' My father [added that] he is [the same person].
