حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ هَارُونَ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْ

نِ نُفَيْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَنْ نَوَّاسِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَبُرَتْ خِيَانَةً تُحَدِّثُ أَخَاكَ حَدِيثًا هُوَ لَكَ مُصَدِّقٌ وَأَنْتَ بِهِ كَاذِبٌ

English Translation
ʿUmar ibn Hārūn narrated to us, from Thawr ibn Yazīd, from Shurayḥ, from Jubayr ibn Nufayr al-Ḥaḍramī, from al-Nawwās ibn Samʿān who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'What a great betrayal it is to narrate to your brother a narration in which he believes you, while you are lying about it.'
