حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ حَرِيزِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ كُنَّا غِلْمَانًا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللّ
َهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ نَكُنْ نُحْسِنُ نَسْأَلُهُ فَقُلْتُ أَشَيْخًا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَانَ فِي عَنْفَقَتِهِ شَعَرَاتٌ بِيضٌ

English Translation
Ḥajjāj ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, from Ḥarīz ibn ʿUthmān who said: We were young boys sitting with ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr — who was one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ — and we did not know how to ask him properly. So I said, 'Was the Prophet ﷺ an old man?' He said, 'There were a few white hairs in his goatee.'
