حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَارِجَةَ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِمِنًى عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَإِنِّي لَتَحْتَ جِرَانِ نَاقَتِهِ وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَلُعَابُهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ قَسَمَ لِكُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ نَصِيبَهُ مِنْ الْمِيرَاثِ وَلَا تَجُوزُ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ أَلَا وَإِنَّ الْوَلَدَ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ أَلَا وَمَنْ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى غَيْ
رَ مَوَالِيهِ رَغْبَةً عَنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ قَالَ سَعِيدٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَارِجَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَزَادَ مَطَرٌ فِي الْحَدِيثِ وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ قَالَ مَطَرٌ وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Khaffāf narrated to us saying: Saʿīd informed us, from Qatādah, from Shahr ibn Ḥawshab, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ghanm, from ʿAmr ibn Khārijah who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us at Minā while on his mount, and I was beneath the neck of his she-camel while it was chewing its cud with its saliva dripping between my shoulders. He said, 'Allah عز وجل has apportioned to every person his share of inheritance, and no bequest is permissible for an heir. The child belongs to the bed, and the fornicator gets the stone. Whoever claims descent from other than his father or affiliates with other than his patrons out of desire to leave them, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people.' Saʿīd said: Maṭar narrated to us, from Shahr ibn Ḥawshab, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ghanm, from ʿAmr ibn Khārijah, from the Prophet ﷺ — the same. Maṭar added in the hadith: 'Neither repentance nor ransom will be accepted from him.' Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Saʿīd narrated to us — and he mentioned the hadith — and said: Maṭar said, 'Neither repentance nor ransom will be accepted from him.'
