Yūnus narrated to us, Ḥammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, Ayyūb narrated to us, from Abū Qilābah, from Abū al-Ashʿath, from Shaddād ibn Aws رضي الله عنه, who said: While I was walking with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ along one of the roads of Madīnah, on the eighteenth of Ramaḍān, while he was holding my hand, he passed by a man who was being cupped. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "The cupper and the one being cupped have both broken their fast."
