حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ

حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتُ الْعِرْبَاضِ قَالَتْ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ كُلَّ ذِي مِخْلَبٍ مِنْ الطَّيْرِ وَلُحُومَ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ وَالْخَلِيسَةَ وَالْمُجَثَّمَةَ وَأَنْ تُوطَأَ السَّبَايَا حَتَّى يَضَعْنَ مَا فِي بُطُونِهِنَّ

English Translation

Abū ʿĀṣim narrated to us, Wahb ibn Khālid al-Ḥimṣī narrated to us, Umm Ḥabībah bint al-ʿIrbāḍ narrated to me saying: My father narrated to me that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ prohibited on the day of Khaybar every bird with talons, the meat of domestic donkeys, the khalīsah [an animal that is partially consumed by a predator], and the mujath-thamah [an animal that is tied up and used as a target], and that captive women should not be approached until they give birth to what is in their wombs.
