حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ أَن
َّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قُدُورِ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ فَقَالَ إِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا غَيْرَهَا فَاغْسِلْ وَاطْبُخْ وَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ فَنَهَاهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ وَعَنْ كُلِّ سَبُعٍ ذِي نَابٍ

English Translation
Abū Thaʿlabah narrated that he asked the Prophet ﷺ about the cooking pots of the People of the Book. He said: 'If you do not find anything else, then wash them and cook in them.' He also asked him about the meat of donkeys, and he forbade him from that and from every predatory beast with fangs.
