حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ ظِلَّ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَدَقَتُهُ
English Translation
Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us, Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq informed us, from Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb, from Marthad ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Yazanī: Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ narrated to me that he heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saying: 'Indeed the shade of the believer on the Day of Resurrection is his charity.'
