Arabic Text
قَالَ يَا كَعْبُ بْنَ مُرَّةَ حَدِّثْنَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاحْذَرْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ امْرَأً مُسْلِمًا كَانَ فِكَاكَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ يُجْزَى بِكُلِّ عَظْمٍ مِنْهُ عَظْمًا مِنْهُ وَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ امْرَأَتَيْنِ مُسْلِمَتَيْنِ كَانَتَا فِكَاكَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ يُجْزَى بِكُلِّ عَظْمَيْنِ مِنْهُمَا عَظْمًا مِنْهُ وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

قال يا كعب بن مرة
رسول الله
English Translation
He (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that 'O Kaʿb ibn Murrah, narrate to us from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and be careful.' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saying: "Whoever frees a Muslim man, it will be his ransom from the Fire — each bone of the freed man for a bone of his. And whoever frees two Muslim women, they will be his ransom from the Fire — every two bones of theirs for a bone of his. And whoever grows a gray hair in the cause of Allāh, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection."'
