English Translation
Ḥusayn ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, Sharīk narrated to us, from Layth, from Shahr ibn Ḥawshab, from ʿAmr ibn Khārijah al-Thumālī, who said: I asked the Prophet ﷺ about a sacrificial animal that becomes injured. He said: 'Slaughter it, dip its shoe in its blood, and strike it on its side' — or he said: 'on its flank — and do not eat any of it, neither you nor the people of your traveling party.'
