English Translation
Aswad ibn ʿĀmir narrated to us, Sharīk narrated to us, from Layth, from Shahr ibn Ḥawshab, from ʿAmr al-Thumālī, who said: the Prophet ﷺ sent with my father a sacrificial animal and said: 'If anything among them becomes injured, slaughter it, then dip its shoe in its blood, then strike it on its side. Do not eat from it, neither you nor the people of your traveling party, and leave it for the people.'
