English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, Abū Isḥāq informed us — meaning al-Shaybānī — from a man who heard Kaʿb ibn ʿUjrah رضي الله عنه saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There shall come a tribulation.' And he mentioned the ḥadīth. He said: 'And there will come a man veiled.' He said: So I turned his face toward him and uncovered his head and said: 'This one, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Yes.' And it was ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān
