حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ

بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَمَيْتَ بِسَهْمِكَ فَغَابَ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ فَأَدْرَكْتَهُ فَكُلْ مَا لَمْ يُنْتِنْ

English Translation
Abū Thaʿlabah al-Khushanī said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If you shoot your arrow and it disappears for three nights, then you find the animal, eat it — as long as it has not begun to smell.'
