English Translation
Yazīd narrated to us, al-Masʿūdī informed us, from Ziyād ibn ʿIlāqah, from al-Mughīrah ibn Shuʿbah رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer. He rose in the second rakʿah (without sitting). We said 'Subḥān Allāh' behind him, but he gestured to us to stand. When he completed the prayer, he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness. And he said once: those behind him said 'Subḥān Allāh' and he gestured to them to stand.
