حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي سِمَاكٌ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيَأْتِ بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ
English Translation
Yaḥyā narrated to us, from Shuʿbah, Simāk narrated to me, from Tamīm ibn Ṭarafah, from ʿAdī ibn Ḥātim, from the Prophet ﷺ: 'Whoever takes an oath and then sees something better than it, let him do what is better.'
