حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ قَالَ أَخْبِرْنِي مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى
اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَلِجُ النَّارَ أَحَدٌ صَلَّى قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ قَالَ آنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ
English Translation
Yaḥyā narrated to us, from Ismāʿīl, Abū Bakr ibn ʿUmārah ibn Ruwaybah narrated to us, from his father رضي الله عنه who said: A man from Basrah asked him: 'Tell me what you heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say.' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: No one who prays before sunrise and before sunset will enter the Fire.' He said: 'Did you hear it from him?' He said: 'My ears heard it and my heart retained it.' The man said: 'By Allah, I have heard him say that.'
