حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى بِشْرَ بْنَ مَر
ْوَانَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ رَافِعًا يَدَيْهِ يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ يَدْعُو فَقَالَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ هَاتَيْنِ الْيُدَيَّتَيْنِ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَدْعُو وَهُوَ يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعٍ

English Translation
Ibn Fuḍayl narrated to us, Ḥuṣayn narrated to us, from ʿUmārah ibn Ruwaybah رضي الله عنه, that he saw Bishr ibn Marwān on the minbar raising his hands and gesturing with his fingers while making supplication. He said: 'May Allah curse these two little hands! I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the minbar supplicating and pointing with a finger.'
