حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ الطَّحَّانَ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّ
هِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَوْ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ مِنْ جَلَالِ اللَّهِ مِنْ تَسْبِيحِهِ وَتَحْمِيدِهِ وَتَكْبِيرِهِ وَتَهْلِيلِهِ يَتَعَاطَفْنَ حَوْلَ الْعَرْشِ لَهُنَّ دَوِيٌّ كَدَوِيِّ النَّحْلِ يُذَكِّرُونَ بِصَاحِبِهِنَّ أَلَا يُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ لَا يَزَالَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ شَيْءٌ يُذَكِّرُ بِهِ

English Translation
Ismāʿīl narrated to us: Abū Ḥayyān al-Taymī narrated to us, from Abū Zurʿah ibn ʿAmr ibn Jarīr, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed, among what you mention of the glorification of Allah, the declaration of His oneness, the declaration of His holiness, and the praise of Him — they circle around the Throne buzzing like the buzzing of bees, reminding of their companion. Does not one of you love to have something — or: someone — that continues to remind of him?'
