الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ تَسْلَمُوا وَالْأَشَرَةُ أَشَرُّ

English Translation

Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us: Qanān ibn ʿAbdillāh al-Nahmī narrated to us, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAwsajah, from al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Spread the greeting of peace and you will be safe. And pride is the worst of evils."
