English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Ādam narrated to us: Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Muntashir, from his father, from Ḥabīb ibn Sālim, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the two ʿEid prayers and in the Friday prayer: {Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High} and {Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming Event?}. And when the ʿEid and the Friday prayer coincided on the same day, he would recite them both — in the ʿEid prayer and in the Friday prayer.
