English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us: Misʿar narrated to us, from Thābit ibn ʿUbayd, from Yazīd ibn al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, from al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, who said: When we prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, what he loved — or what was desired — was to stand on his right side. He said: And I heard him say: "My Lord, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants" — or "gather Your servants." Abū Nuʿaym also narrated it to us with the same chain and meaning, except he said: Thābit from Ibn al-Barāʾ from al-Barāʾ.
